App privacy

Revival Harmony is a sound healing and meditation app. This privacy policy explains, in plain language, what happens with your information when you use the app.

The short version

We don't collect any personal data.

Revival Harmony has no accounts, no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.

What stays on your device

A small number of preferences and entries are stored locally in your phone's app storage so the app remembers them between sessions:

• Favourite sessions you save from the Player.
• Journal entries you write in the Journal section.
• Theme choice (light, dark, or auto).
• Sleep mode brightness preference.

Nothing in this list ever leaves your phone. It is not synced to any server, not backed up to our servers (we have no servers), and not shared with anyone. If you delete the app, it is gone.

Microphone (Tuner only)

Revival Harmony includes a Tuner that listens through your device's microphone in real time to detect the pitch of instruments or tones you play (singing bowls, tuning forks, gongs, or anything you choose to play near the phone). The Tuner is only active while you are on the Tuner screen. The moment you leave that tab, tap Stop, or background the app, the microphone is released and the app returns to playback-only mode.

While the Tuner is active:

• Audio is analysed continuously on your device to identify the dominant frequency.
• Analysis happens entirely on your device. The audio is never recorded, never stored, and never transmitted to any server.
• Only the resulting frequency reading (a number) is shown in the app interface. The audio itself does not leave your phone, and the app does not retain it after analysis.

If you never use the Tuner, the microphone permission is never exercised. You can revoke microphone access at any time in iOS Settings > Revival Harmony.

What we don't collect

We do not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

• Your name, email address, phone number, or any account credentials.
• Your location.
• Your contacts, photos, or other media.
• Audio recordings or any audio captured by the microphone. The Tuner section above explains how the microphone is used in real time only.
• Usage statistics, crash reports, or analytics.
• Device identifiers, advertising IDs, or anything used for tracking.
• Anything you write in the Journal.
• Which sessions you play, when, or for how long.

Third-party services

There are none. The app's typefaces ship inside the app itself, so Revival Harmony makes no network requests at all while you use it. Nothing is loaded from any server, ours or anyone else's.

The "Shop" section in the app contains links that, when tapped, open the Revival Harmony website in your browser. Visiting those pages is governed by our website privacy notice, which is this document.

Children

Revival Harmony is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly accept any data from children. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe your child has used the app, no action is required because no data leaves the device.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and post the new version at this URL.
