Level 1 - Introduction to Sound Medicine

Foundations of Therapeutic Sound, Awareness, and Vibration

Level 1 is the foundation of your journey into Sound Medicine, a two-day immersive training that combines theory, demonstration, and direct experience with a wide range of instruments.
Led by Éanna Healy, sound medicine practitioner, gong master, and mindfulness trainer, this weekend introduces the science, spirituality, and sensitivity behind working with sound.

Students learn how sound affects the body and mind, exploring the connection between vibration, frequency, and human consciousness. The course includes guided meditations, mindfulness practices, and practical demonstrations using gongs, drums, crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls, chimes, tuning forks, and more.

You’ll gain a clear understanding of:

  • The science and physics of sound and resonance
  • The energetic and emotional effects of sound on the body
  • How to hold space safely and create therapeutic environments
  • The role of intention, breath, and awareness in sound practice
  • Basic instrument care, selection, and playing techniques
  • Introduction to mindfulness and listening practices for sound healers

Over the two days, you’ll experience both giving and receiving sound, allowing you to feel the power of vibration in your own body before learning to share it with others.

By the end of Level 1, you’ll have a solid understanding of sound healing principles, the confidence to work intuitively with instruments, and the foundations to progress toward practitioner training.

Duration: 2 days (10 am – 5 pm)
Investment: €432

Includes:

  • All instruments provided for training
  • Printed handbook and course materials
  • Student discount on instruments in the Harmony Store

Level 2 – Practitioner Foundations

Guided Facilitation, Group Dynamics, and the Art of Holding Space

Level 2 is where your practice deepens and becomes truly practical. Over two immersive days, students step beyond personal sound exploration and begin learning how to facilitate healing experiences for others. This level focuses on the skills, awareness, and presence required to guide group soundbaths with confidence and authenticity.

Training takes place in the Revival Harmony studio, surrounded by Éanna's extensive collection of instruments, gongs, crystal bowls, drums, chimes, tuning forks, and many more. You’ll learn through live demonstration, guided practice, and collaborative sessions with Éanna’s mentorship.

Students gain hands-on experience in:

  • Creating and structuring full soundbath journeys
  • Reading and responding to the energy of a group
  • Layering instruments, rhythm, and silence for deep immersion
  • Working with intention, mindfulness, and grounding techniques
  • Managing the energetic flow and emotional release of participants
  • Space setup, lighting, and environment for sound sessions
  • Communicating with clients and building trust as a facilitator

An important part of this training is assisted practice. To qualify for progression, each student is required to assist in at least two live soundbaths with Éanna at Revival Harmony. This mentorship provides invaluable real-world experience using professional-grade instruments and learning how to manage the flow of an actual event.

By the end of Level 2, you’ll be able to confidently co-facilitate a soundbath, understand how to manage group energy, and begin developing your personal facilitation style in alignment with your unique sound and presence.

Duration: 2 days (10 am – 5 pm)
