Chao Gong - 80cm
The 80 cm Chao gong, also known as a Tam Tam, is a large, commanding instrument. Played softly it gives shimmering textures that drift across the room. Give it a full strike and it answers with a thunderous crash and long, rolling sustain that fills the space completely. It is handcrafted in China using traditional methods.
