Slip the string loops around your fingers, bring the strings up to your ears, and discover the magic of sound in the palm of your hand. The SoundNest Pocket Gong is a compact metal gong that brings grounding vibrations and meditative tones anywhere you go: at home, in the studio, or on your travels.
It works on simple physics. Vibration travels far better through solid materials than through air, so when the little gong rings, its deep, resonant frequencies run from the gong, along the dense rope string, and straight to your ears. Clear, grounding sound you can truly feel.
- Place the string loops comfortably around your fingers
- Lean slightly forward so the gong can hang freely without touching anything
- Tap it gently against walls, tables, door frames, crystal bowls or even your hand, and notice how each surface changes the tone
