Sound healing course, Limerick

Practitioner Diploma in Sound Medicine

Ireland's leading sound healing training. Go from complete beginner to certified sound practitioner across three hands on weekends in Limerick's purpose built sound studio, with gongs, drums, crystal bowls, flutes, chimes and more. IPHM accredited, no experience needed, and taken at your own pace.

Start with Level 1, €449

Led by Éanna Healy

Three levels, at your own pace

Each level is a two day weekend, 10am to 6pm, taught by Éanna Healy, a working sound medicine practitioner trained in gong mastery, shamanic practice and mindfulness. Each level runs several times through the year, so you take the next one whenever it suits you: back to back, or with months between.

Not ready to commit to the full diploma? Level 1 stands on its own. It is a warm, hands on introduction for anyone curious about sound, with no pressure to go further. You spend two days with the instruments, feel the effect of sound for yourself, and leave with a Foundation Certificate. If you do continue, nothing is wasted: Level 1 is the first of the three weekends.

Hands on from day one

You learn by playing, listening and feeling.

Walk into a room full of sound

Gongs, bowls, drums and chimes, all yours to learn.

A small circle of people like you

Learn together. Grow together.

Lose yourself in the sound

Deep listening. Deep rest.

From first strike to your own sound bath

It all starts here.

How it works

From your first strike to your own practice

Three weekends and a certification stage. Each one is booked on its own.

1

Two hands on days with the instruments. A complete introduction with its own Foundation Certificate, and the first weekend of the diploma. €449, or a €249 deposit to secure your place.

2

Level 2, practitioner foundations

Practitioner skills: holding space, one to one work, client care, safety, session structure, consent and boundaries. You begin your case studies after this weekend. €499, with a €249 deposit option. Needs Level 1.

3

Level 3, diploma in sound medicine

Integration, practical assessment, confidence, group and one to one work, and how to bring sound medicine into your own practice or business. €499, with a €249 deposit option. Needs Level 2, with your case studies underway.

4

Certification

Complete Anatomy and Physiology (our online course for €129, or a qualification you already hold), nine case study sessions (three clients, three sessions each) and the online exam. Receive your IPHM accredited Practitioner Diploma.

Two routes

Two routes to your diploma

There are two ways to complete the practitioner training. Both cover the same ground and lead to the same qualification, so choose whichever suits your life.

Route A is Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3, taken as three separate weekends at the studio in Limerick, each booked on a date that suits you.

Route B is the Diploma Retreat, four days and three nights in the Tipperary countryside, covering the training in one block with accommodation, food and all instruments included, plus online modules afterwards. The retreat stands alone. We recommend Level 1 first, but it is not required, which suits people travelling from further away. If you have already done Level 1 with us, you get €200 off the retreat.

Fees

Fees and what is included

  • Level 1, the Foundation weekend: €449, paid in full or €249 to secure your place.
  • Level 2 and Level 3: €499 each, booked separately, each with a €249 deposit option.
  • Full course: €1,447 across the three levels.

Anatomy and Physiology is required for the full diploma. Take our online course for €129, or use a recognised qualification you already hold. Sound Healing Fundamentals, our online course, is included free and sent to you a month before Level 1.

Your fees cover everything you need to learn, practise and qualify:

  • A welcome pack to begin your journey
  • Your printed course textbook and all training materials
  • All instruments provided, Ireland's largest selection to experience and learn on
  • Three full, practical weekends of hands on training
  • Expert led guidance and mentoring from Éanna throughout
  • A free online primer, sent when you sign up, so you arrive ready
  • Behind the scenes recordings of real sound baths to learn from
  • Case study guidance and your online competency exam

Paying in instalments

Spread the cost

Paying a large amount all at once is not always easy. You can secure your place on any level with a deposit of €249 and we will arrange a payment plan for the balance, paid before the weekend begins. Students can also pay for instruments in instalments, so you can plan your payments without covering everything in one go.

Why train at Revival Harmony

Training you can build a real practice on

  • Ireland's largest selection of instruments. Learn hands on with gongs, crystal and Tibetan bowls, drums, chimes, tuning forks, flutes and more, and discover which truly resonate with you. Most courses teach on a handful. Here you have it all.
  • A purpose built sound studio. Not a hired hall, but a space designed for sound, where you feel the difference the moment you walk in.
  • Learn from a working practitioner. Éanna runs real sound baths and sessions. You attend and observe genuine sound baths with real participants, and learn the craft as it is practised, including how to make a living from it.
  • Small groups. Places are capped at eight, so everyone gets plenty of hands on time and personal guidance.
  • Study at your own pace. Each level runs several times through the year. Take them back to back, or leave months between. If you need to reschedule, you join the next available date for that level, subject to availability.
  • A real, insurable qualification. IPHM accredited, with assessment and real client work behind it, so you can go on to practise. Graduates can hire the studio to run their own sound baths and keep all their ticket sales.

The details

Everything you need to know before you book

The small print, in plain English. If anything is unclear, call us on 061 424 765 and we will talk it through.

How the levels work
  • Each level is a separate two day weekend, booked on its own.
  • Level 1 is the starting point. It can be taken on its own as a complete introduction, with its own Foundation Certificate.
  • Level 2 requires Level 1. Level 3 requires Level 2, and we ask that your case studies are underway before you attend.
  • There is no fixed gap between levels. Take the next one as soon as a date suits you, or leave months between them.
  • The time between Level 2 and Level 3 is used for practice, case studies, Anatomy and Physiology and preparation for the final assessment, so most students find a gap of a month or more works well.
Anatomy and Physiology requirement

Anatomy and Physiology is required for the full diploma.

  • If you already have a recognised Anatomy and Physiology certificate, you do not need to complete it again. We may ask you to send us a copy.
  • If you have never completed Anatomy and Physiology, you can take our online course, Anatomy and Physiology for On Body Sound Work (€129). It is designed for students who are new to the subject and want to understand the body in relation to sound, vibration and on body sound work.
  • You can begin it after Level 1. It must be completed before your full diploma certificate is issued.
Case study requirement

Case studies are an important part of becoming a confident practitioner. After Level 2, you begin working with practice clients.

  • 3 case study clients
  • 3 sessions per client
  • 9 sessions in total
  • A Reflection and Learning form for each session

We recommend completing your case studies before Level 3. If they are not complete, you may still attend Level 3, and your diploma certificate is issued once all case studies and requirements are complete.

Rescheduling and missed weekends

Each level is offered more than once a year, so you can complete the full diploma at your own pace. If you miss a weekend or need to reschedule, you join the next available date for that level, subject to availability.

What you need to complete for the full diploma

To receive the Practitioner Diploma in Sound Medicine you complete:

  • Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3
  • Anatomy and Physiology, with us or an existing recognised qualification
  • Nine case study sessions with their reflection forms
  • The online competency exam
Can I do the training as a retreat instead?

Yes. The Diploma Retreat covers the training in one block over four days in Tipperary, 8 to 11 October 2026, with accommodation and food included. Level 1 graduates get €200 off.
