Chao Gong – 50cm
A handcrafted bronze and brass Chao Gong, made in China using traditional gong making techniques. Each one is individually hand hammered, so no two sound quite alike. The 50 cm size gives a deep, full bodied resonance with a long sustain, flowing easily from soft, shimmering overtones to powerful, room filling waves.
Its strong, grounding voice suits sound healing, meditation and yoga, and its expressive tone earns it a place in orchestral and ensemble settings too. A padded mallet is included.
