Gongland Dark Water Gong

The Gongland Dark Water Gong is a handcrafted, symphonic-style gong with a deep, fluid voice: dark, unfathomable lows rising into shimmering, moving overtones. It evokes the element of water, from still hidden depths to the rush of a waterfall, which makes it a striking choice for sound baths, meditation and professional gong practice.

Each one is made in Germany by Rolf Nitsch, founder of Gongland, who spent more than 20 years training and working with Paiste before starting his own workshop. That experience shows in the balance, response and musicality of every gong. The Dark Water is known for its atmospheric finish as much as its expressive, flowing tone, and dealers describe these as premium nickel silver gongs, with Rolf personally checking every instrument before it leaves the workshop.
