Handmade in Italy by Grotta Sonora, this 19 inch handheld gong responds beautifully to a soft mallet, opening slowly from a deep fundamental into a wash of overtones. Play it still for a steady tone, or move it as it sounds for a shifting, three dimensional effect.
Suitable for beginners, and a welcome addition to any established instrument set.
