Shaman drum goat Kokopelli 35cm

This traditional shamanic ritual drum consists of a wooden frame covered with goatskin and skin strings. The drum has a bass-heavy, voluminous sound and yet is light as a feather. The shaman drum is traditionally played with a specially designed mallet (included). The larger the diameter of the drum, the more bass-heavy the playable tones become. This drum has a black painting on the drumhead in the style of the Kokopelli symbol of the Native American Anasazi Indians. The frame is decorated with feathers in natural colors and wooden beads. Jew's harps and shakers/rattles are suitable as accompanying instruments.
